Chestnut Class Home Page

Welcome to our class!

Children in Chestnut Class are in Year 1 and Year 2. 

The class teacher is Mrs Bee. Mrs Middleton and Mrs Fox are the teaching assistants.

Our Explore enquiry question for Spring 2026 is

"What does it mean to feel at home?"

We have a focus on exploring this term particularly through geography. We will be learning about the world and its continents, followed by a focus on the contrasting locality of St Lucia. We are planning several theme days and surprises! The school treasures we are focusing on are Respect and Love.  The UN Development Goal this term is 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Our regular P.E. days this term are Wednesdays and Fridays, and children should come to school wearing their PE kit on those days.
