Welcome

Welcome to Bunny C of E Primary School

“Do everything in love” 1 Corinthians 16:14

A very warm welcome to Bunny C of E Primary School.

We are a lovely, small village Primary School set in a beautiful conservation area on the outskirts of Nottingham, which caters for children aged between 3 and 11 years. We have beautiful grounds with a football pitch/ athletics track, lots of outdoor play equipment and mature trees. We have 4 mixed age classes with no more than 30 children in each class.

Bunny School is a happy, friendly and safe place where everyone feels welcomed and valued. Our School is a place where all members of the community care about each other and are kind to each other. We also pride ourselves on setting the highest standards and expectations of our pupils whilst celebrating success of all kinds. We challenge and develop our children to become curious, autonomous learners who are inspired and stimulated through our rich and varied curriculum; appropriate to individual needs. We develop children’s learning skills and by setting high expectations we prepare our children to flourish, have high self-esteem and self-belief.

Our staff are experienced and committed professionals who put 'child-centred learning' at the heart of what they do and ensure that the learning is both challenging, exciting and engaging. The staff really do go "the extra mile" to ensure that learning is creative and engages children's curiosity. We recognise that all children have special talents and abilities to celebrate, and a part of our role is to help them discover and develop these.

As a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, we have close links with Bunny St Marys Church where we hold regular events and some collective worship there. We also work closely with the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham to ensure the Christian distinctiveness of the school.

We are part of a friendly, close-knit community, where we actively involve ourselves throughout the year and we take pride in being the heart of the community where families come together for fundraising events and to celebrate and enjoy school life.

I hope you enjoy what you see. We are very proud of our school, our staff and our children.

You are most welcome to visit at any time and come and see for yourselves what a warm and friendly school we are.
