Chestnut Class Home Page

Welcome to our class!

Children in Chestnut Class are in Year 1 and Year 2. 

The class teacher is Mrs Bee. Mrs Middleton and Mrs Slack are the teaching assistants.

 Keep up with regular class news and learning topics along with messages from teachers on Class Dojo.

Our enquiry question for Autumn 2025 is

"How can we turn disaster into opportunity?"

We have a focus on discovery learning this term particularly through history. We will be learning about changes in living memory through the history of toys, and then studying the Great Fire of London. We are planning several theme days and surprises! The school treasures we are focusing on are Aspiration and Courage.

Our regular P.E. days this term are Wednesdays and Thursdays, and children should come to school wearing their PE kit on those days.
