Vision statement for maths

At Bunny C of E Primary School, our Maths curriculum develops confident, curious learners who believe that everyone can succeed in maths. Grounded in the White Rose mastery approach and informed by cognitive science, teaching builds deep understanding through small steps, reasoning, and problem-solving. Pupils use concrete, pictorial, and abstract representations to strengthen their understanding and retention of key concepts. We nurture resilient, independent thinkers who can apply their mathematical knowledge with confidence in everyday life.
