Safeguarding
At Bunny C of E Primary School our first priority will always be to keep our children safe and to prevent harm. We recognise the importance of providing our children with a safe, nurturing learning environment, where everyone feels valued, respected and listened to. If our children feel happy, safe and respected, we believe this will enable all of our children to reach their full potential and be successful, happy learners.
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone's responsibility at our school. As part of our commitment to safeguarding, we:
- Ensure all adults who work or volunteer in our school are trained regularly in current safeguarding procedures and are able to identify signs of abuse and report these concerns appropriately.
- Create a safe learning environment where children feel confident to report any concerns or worries they have to any of the adults in school.
- Teach our children the skills to keep themselves and others safe through our PSHE and online safety curriculum.
- Work in partnership with other professionals and agencies to ensure that our children and families get prompt and effective support when they need it.
